Hi! I’m Joost, I joined the TCS group in September 2025 as a PhD student, supervised by Nicolas Resch. Before starting my PhD, I did a 1-year internship at the CWI where I wrote my master thesis in cryptography. This thesis was part of a combined master’s programme at Utrecht University for the masters: mathematical sciences and computing science.
So far I have enjoyed working on tightness analysis of reductions and impossibility results.
